High Capacity Ricoh 407340 Black Toner Cartridge

The cartridge can produce up to 6,000 pages of sharp black and white prints before it needs replacing, so it is ideal if you do a lot of printing.

Replacing the cartridge is a quick, easy job. Open the front cover of the printer to begin and lift out the large black cartridge you can see. The part you have pulled out is the drum unit and the cartridge is sat in it. Pull down the lever on the right side of the drum to release the toner and you can then lift it out. The new drum can then be put in its place and the lever pushed up to lock it in. The whole unit can then put back in the printer.

The drum will also need replacing at some point, but as it prints up to 20,000 pages you won't need to replace it as often as the cartridge. Don't worry the printer will tell you when to do so.

The 407340 toner cartridge is packaged in its own box so if you're not ready to use it straight away, you can store it for up to 6 months without its quality being affected.
