Ultra High Capacity Ricoh 407318 Black Toner Cartridge

The ultra high capacity toner can produce up to 12,000 pages before it needs replacing, making it perfect if you do large print jobs or are print often.

The toner is part of the printer which holds the powder, this is then turned into the print on the page. When it is empty and it needs replacing you can easily replace it by opening the front cover of the printer and removing the large black cartridge. This is the drum with the cartridge inside it. Push down the lever on the right-hand side to release the toner from the drum, you can then lift it out. The new toner slots into its place and lifting up the lever locks it in. It can then be put back in the printer.

The drum will also need replacing along the way, but as it prints up to 20,000 pages you won't need to replace it as often as the cartridge. Don't worry the printer will tell you when to put a new one in.

The 407318 toner cartridge is packaged in its own box. If you're not ready to use it straight away, you can store it for up to 6 months without its performance being affected.
