This Remanufactured HP 339 Black Ink cartridge is quoted as doing up to 860 pages before needing to be replaced.
The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.
This cartridge will print page for page the same as an HP original, quoted to print up to 860 pages based on printing 5% of an A4 page, it will provide the same crisp, black prints you are used to from your printer but at a much lower price.
We're so confident in this reman hp 339 cartridges performance that we offer a complete 12-month guarantee on this item.

Running CostThis value is calculated from manufacturer's estimates of how many pages a cartridge will print, and should only be used to compare cartridge running costs. Page yields are estimated using the ISO standard of 5% coverage on a plain A4 page, which is roughly the length of a short letter. |

Very happy with ordering, delivery (next day option) and communications.
Some colour ink HP compatible remanufactured items were out of stock, but thankfully I didn't need them at the point of order.
I used the HP339 black ink cartridge with a HP Deskjet 6940.
The results are very good, based on the first 3 pages I have printed. Considering the price is ~ 30% of the HP original cartridges these are very good value. I hope they will not dry out too quickly but time will tell.
Installation instructions could be a bit clearer.
Otherwise I fully recommend others to try the remanufactured inks, which I initially was slightly skeptical about as I wrongly thought HP may have blocked alternative inks from being used
Thank you for your great 5 star review! I am glad you are happy with your StinkyInks!
Answered by Molly Hanwell (staff member) - February 26, 2024 09:29It's a bit of a lottery with these refilled cartridges. I've just gone to open one that I've had on the shelf here and the ink has leaked in the packaging. Unfortunately it's a couple of months out of the 12 months guarantee period so stinkyink won't replace it.
We are sorry that you are unhappy with our decision not to replace your cartridges. We guarantee our cartridges and toners for 12 months as per our terms and conditions, this time period also gives our customers time to use the cartridges and if there are any faults we will replace within this time frame. Although we couldn't help with the issue you have had, we did offer you a discount against your next order which is still available, so if you would like to order, please reply to the email we sent earlier or give us a call on 01746 781 020.

Use our 'Check this ink fits your printer' box at the top of this page to confirm this cartridge is suitable for your printer model. In most cases the model number is written on the front of your printer.
Note: These cartridges will only work in printers purchased in the UK and Europe. Printers purchased outside of these zones will have different coding and electronics.
We don't advise on the number of millilitres, as not every cartridge prints using the same droplet size, so two cartridges for two different printers may both have 5ml of ink, but one will print more than the other. Instead, more accurately, the industry standard is based on printing 5% of an A4 page.
This is known as page yield. The number of pages you'll be able to print depends on the cartridge you purchase and the kind of printing you do. The page yields shown higher up the page are based on printing 5% of the area on an A4 page.
Learn more about how many pages you'll be able to print with this cartridge in this article.
No, you aren't able to use other cartridges alongside your HP Instant ink ones. Cartridges in the Instant Ink program have different coding, so whilst enrolled, you are locked into their service and must use their cartridges. Read our blog to learn more about HP Instant Ink.
These are refilled HP cartridges which means they have been used once previously before being reconditioned and refilled with ink, making them a more environmentally friendly option that still provides the print quality you need.
As these are reconditioned HP cartridges, there is a small chance that ink levels will show the last level status. This does not affect the functioning of the cartridge, but should you have any queries, do not hesitate to contact us, or look at our Ink Reader Level Guide, should you need help.
Yes, these cartridges are just as easy to install as the originals. Make sure the required clips have been taken off, along with the clear (usually blue) tape that covers the metal panel on the underneath of the cartridge, and then slot the cartridge into your printer. Do NOT remove the brown tape that is connected to the contact chip.
It's best to keep a spare, so you'll save money when buying 2 of any item.
These inks can be stored for 1 year without affecting performance + are covered by our money back guarantee to give you full peace of mind.
