The original version of this cartridge has unfortunately been discontinued by the manufacturer, and is no longer available.
Installed the new cartridges into my HP 8500 Pro and the black cartridge works fine, but the colours are not working well at all. Have tried the print head cleaning option, but this seems to have made it worse. Any ideas what top do to solve the problem?
Sorry to hear this has caused you an issue. I will contact you in relations to the issue you are having and see how we can resolve this for you.

Great product, speedy delivery. Products work smoothly in my HP printer
All arrived quickly. I had used Staples recycled products in the past but my HP printer had rejected them completely. Have found with Stinky Ink that their cartridges work fine and have had no issues.
The inks arrived very quickly. We haven't needed to use them yet. All previous orders have been perfectly fine.
Many thanks.
Arrived very quickly in good condition. All easily installed (no peeling off plastic protector etc). All working fine. My HP printer didn't like accepting them and told me so as non genuine HP cartridges but did not stop them working fine, so all good.
Use our 'Check this ink fits your printer' box at the top of this page to confirm this cartridge is suitable for your printer model. In most cases the model number is written on the front of your printer.
Note: These cartridges will only work in printers purchased in the UK and Europe. Printers purchased outside of these zones will have different coding and electronics.
We don't advise on the number of millilitres, as not every cartridge prints using the same droplet size, so two cartridges for two different printers may both have 5ml of ink, but one will print more than the other. Instead, more accurately, the industry standard is based on printing 5% of an A4 page.
This is known as page yield. The number of pages you'll be able to print depends on the cartridge you purchase and the kind of printing you do. The page yields shown higher up the page are based on printing 5% of the area on an A4 page.
Learn more about how many pages you'll be able to print with this cartridge in this article.
No, you aren't able to use other cartridges alongside your HP Instant ink ones. Cartridges in the Instant Ink program have different coding, so whilst enrolled, you are locked into their service and must use their cartridges. Read our blog to learn more about HP Instant Ink.
If you choose a high-capacity (XL) version of this cartridge it will still fit in your printer. The size of the cartridge is the same, but they are just filled up more to provide you with extra prints, often at a substantially lower cost per page printed.
These are refilled HP cartridges which means they have been used once previously before being reconditioned and refilled with ink, making them a more environmentally friendly option that still provides the print quality you need.
As these are reconditioned HP cartridges, there is a small chance that ink levels will show the last level status. This does not affect the functioning of the cartridge, but should you have any queries, do not hesitate to contact us, or look at our Ink Reader Level Guide, should you need help.
Yes, these cartridges are just as easy to install as the originals. Make sure the required clips have been taken off, along with the clear (usually blue) tape that covers the metal panel on the underneath of the cartridge, and then slot the cartridge into your printer. Do NOT remove the brown tape that is connected to the contact chip.
It's best to keep a spare, so you'll save money when buying 2 of any item.
These inks can be stored for 1 year without affecting performance + are covered by our money back guarantee to give you full peace of mind.
