This Remanufactured High Capacity HP 22 Colour Ink is quoted as doing up to 830 pages before needing to be replaced.
The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.
This high quality Reman inkjet cartridge contains a massive 21ml ink, far more than the 11ml in the HP original, and is a great way to slash your printing costs whilst still enjoying great print quality.

Running CostThis value is calculated from manufacturer's estimates of how many pages a cartridge will print, and should only be used to compare cartridge running costs. Page yields are estimated using the ISO standard of 5% coverage on a plain A4 page, which is roughly the length of a short letter. |

I have not yet used my recent purchase - but I was very impressed by the speed of delivery. I have been very satisfied with previous purchases and will use this service again when needed.

Answered by Tara Ward (staff member) - July 06, 2023 10:29The HP F4100 didn't recognise the cartridge at first because of ink on the contacts. I carefully removed this and everything has been perfect since. I'll continue to reorder because I know you'll sort out any problems.
Thank you for the great review, we are very happy to hear all was well in the end :) We hope you have a good week.
Answered by Tara Ward (staff member) - February 24, 2022 09:21I bought this in April 2021 but did not use it until Oct 2021. I tried to print a document that included some pictures and initially my printer would not print at all and the ink warning light was on, I persevered and eventually it printed 2 pages out of 3 with the wrong colours, and then I kept getting Error messages. I had to shake the cartridge in order for the colours to be correct. Due to the Error messages I had to keep emptying the print queue and resend the document in order to get the 6 copies that I wanted.
Trying to print a test page now and the Yellow is not printing at all.
We are very sorry to hear of the problems with the colour cartridge.
We will get in touch with you directly to see if we can help with troubleshooting, if not we can either send a replacement or refund you.
Sorry for the trouble caused.
Answered by Tara Ward (staff member) - October 20, 2021 16:12The colour ink doesn't last as long as it used to but it could be my printer that is playing up
Thank you for the review John. I have sent you an email to discuss this further to see if we can identify the issue and get this resolved :)
Answered by Elly Bourne (staff member) - June 16, 2021 08:48I’ve bought 2 of these & neither work properly in my printer 😔
I'm sorry to hear that your cartridges aren't working for you.
I will contact you now to offer you some help with these.
If we can't get them to work then you can either have a refund or a replacement - your choice :)
Good value product once I got past all the non genuine cartridge problems displayed by both HP printer and HP laptop. Thank you.
Use our 'Check this ink fits your printer' box at the top of this page to confirm this cartridge is suitable for your printer model. In most cases the model number is written on the front of your printer.
Note: These cartridges will only work in printers purchased in the UK and Europe. Printers purchased outside of these zones will have different coding and electronics.
We don't advise on the number of millilitres, as not every cartridge prints using the same droplet size, so two cartridges for two different printers may both have 5ml of ink, but one will print more than the other. Instead, more accurately, the industry standard is based on printing 5% of an A4 page.
This is known as page yield. The number of pages you'll be able to print depends on the cartridge you purchase and the kind of printing you do. The page yields shown higher up the page are based on printing 5% of the area on an A4 page.
Learn more about how many pages you'll be able to print with this cartridge in this article.
No, you aren't able to use other cartridges alongside your HP Instant ink ones. Cartridges in the Instant Ink program have different coding, so whilst enrolled, you are locked into their service and must use their cartridges. Read our blog to learn more about HP Instant Ink.
If you choose a high-capacity (XL) version of this cartridge it will still fit in your printer. The size of the cartridge is the same, but they are just filled up more to provide you with extra prints, often at a substantially lower cost per page printed.
These are refilled HP cartridges which means they have been used once previously before being reconditioned and refilled with ink, making them a more environmentally friendly option that still provides the print quality you need.
As these are reconditioned HP cartridges, there is a small chance that ink levels will show the last level status. This does not affect the functioning of the cartridge, but should you have any queries, do not hesitate to contact us, or look at our Ink Reader Level Guide, should you need help.
Yes, these cartridges are just as easy to install as the originals. Make sure the required clips have been taken off, along with the clear (usually blue) tape that covers the metal panel on the underneath of the cartridge, and then slot the cartridge into your printer. Do NOT remove the brown tape that is connected to the contact chip.
It's best to keep a spare, so you'll save money when buying 2 of any item.
These inks can be stored for 1 year without affecting performance + are covered by our money back guarantee to give you full peace of mind.
