Unfortunately we are unable to offer safe place instructions on deliveries due to Royal Mail requirements. The services we use do not support instructions for the driver and would be ignored if written onto the packaging. This is Royal Mail's side, not ours, so don't hate us!
What you could try
Most people know their Royal Mail delivery men well, if you leave instructions for him at the house or have a personal agreement with them ("hi could you just leave tomorrows mail by the gate") they're likely to follow it.
What you can't try
- Adding in delivery instructions to your name or address fields will not work and will be ignored
- Asking us to add instructions after you've placed an order. Even if we could do it, the postman wouldn't be allowed to follow it.
We package everything postbox friendly where possible to minimise disruptions, and don't forget that Royal Mail will hold your mail at a local depot and attempt repeat deliveries where possible.
