The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.

HP purchased Samsung's toner business in November 2017, taking the handy step of giving new codes to selected products.
The SS586A is the same product as the CLT-K804S, just with a new code, and will work in the same printers!
This Samsung cartridge produces up to a whopping 20,000 pages! Ideal for a busy office that produces a lot of mono printing. You won't need to change the CLT-K804S often, but when you do it should be nice and easy as installation is user friendly. This toner is a great investment for someone who has a large work load as the running cost for mono prints is really low.
Don't worry if you're not going to use it straight away, you can store it somewhere cool and dry for up to six months without affecting its performance.
