This drum is manufactured by Lexmark for your printer, and works in tandem with the toners in your printer to give effortless, professional prints. It has a lifecycle of up to 60,000 pages per unit, and is crucial for your printers performance.
It is part of the Lexmark Return Program. This is where you enjoy a much lower price buying the Lexmark item, under the agreement that once it is empty you return it to Lexmark for recycling or re-use for them. Otherwise this drum is identical to the other drum for your printer (the Lexmark 56F0ZA0).
The drum is responsible for transferring the toner from cartridge to the page and should be replaced as soon as your printer alerts you. Otherwise your printouts will start to appear faded or have blank parts appear on the page.
