Thank you for your review Maggie! We are pleased to hear that you are happy with the product you have received :)
Answered by Charlotte Ball (staff member) - August 09, 2021 10:34Not happy with the last consignment. The cartridge had a very short life.
I'm sorry the cartridge seems to have ran out after 50 sheets.
Would you be able to provide me with the following information please so I can look into this for you:
- The model number of your printer
- What you printed with the cartridge (i.e. photo's, documents, what size and how many?)
- Why the cartridge had a short life? (Did the print become faint or did the printer tell you it was empty/low?)
Thank you. If there's anything else I ca do in the meantime just let me know.

Brilliant Service I always buy my ink from stinkyink as they are always a good price and arrive within 2 days
Use our 'Check this ink fits your printer' box at the top of this page to confirm this cartridge is suitable for your printer model. In most cases the model number is written on the front of your printer.
Note: These cartridges will only work in printers purchased in the UK and Europe. Printers purchased outside of these zones will have different coding and electronics.
We don't advise on the number of millilitres, as not every cartridge prints using the same droplet size, so two cartridges for two different printers may both have 5ml of ink, but one will print more than the other. Instead, more accurately, the industry standard is based on printing 5% of an A4 page.
This is known as page yield. The number of pages you'll be able to print depends on the cartridge you purchase and the kind of printing you do. The page yields shown higher up the page are based on printing 5% of the area on an A4 page.

No, you aren't able to use other cartridges alongside your HP Instant ink ones. Cartridges in the Instant Ink program have different coding, so whilst enrolled, you are locked into their service and must use their cartridges. Read our blog to learn more about HP Instant Ink.
There are a number of factors that affect the price of original (OEM) ink cartridges. This cartridge is made by HP themselves so they have ultimate control over the cost Stinkyink pay to stock them. Recent increases in the costs of raw materials and shipping for example have put more pressure prices. However, at Stinkyink we work constantly to keep prices low and offer a price-match guarantee on all original ink products.
Of course, in most cases you have the option save money with a Stinkyink compatible ink, which come with a 12-month money back guarantee. See the product comparison table further up this page for your options.
It's best to keep a spare, so you'll save money when buying 2 of any item.
These inks can be stored for 1 year without affecting performance + are covered by our money back guarantee to give you full peace of mind.
