The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.
Product description
The high capacity 45862816 cyan toner can print up to 10,000 blue pages before it needs to be replaced. This also makes it ideal for use in a small/medium office.
The printer also requires a cyan drum, this is the part the toner fits into in the printer. The drum prints all the toner into shape so it's really important you also replace this when the printer tells you too.
It's easy to install the new toner, simply open the cover of the printer to reveal the toners and drums to begin. move the small green clip at the side of the toner you are removing, this will release it from the drum and then let you pull the toner out. Put the new toner in its place and the move the clip back to lock it in.
You can use the original 45862816 cyan toner along with any other original, refilled or compatible MC873 toner cartridges or drums, no problem at all.
