The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.
Product description
Once your current toner is empty you can change it for this 83X toner in no time at all. simply open the top cover of the printer to begin and then remove the toner cartridge using the handle on the top. Then prepare the new toner by taking it out of the box and bag, giving it a gentle shake and then remove the orange pull tab. To put the toner in the printer, align the toner cartridge with the tracks inside and then push it in until it is firmly seated. You can then close the top cover and once the printer has loaded again you can print.
