Yes I can confirm that the VTCE285A is the correct cartridge for the HP Laserjet Pro P1102w printer.

it may be that the printer isn't reading the chip on the toner correctly. If you clean that chip on the toner with a pencil rubber that should fix it. if that doesn't work, please email us and we should be able to get this sorted for you.
