The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.
Product description
The compatible TN900 yellow toner can print up to 6,000 pages of vibrant yellow prints, before it will need to be replaced, just like the Brother original can.
The compatible toner can be replaced as easily as the original can, open the front over of the print and pull out the tray. This is the drum and each toner is sat inside it. Hold the handle of the toner you need to remove and push it forward carefully to unlock it and then lift it out. Next you will need to give the new toner a gentle shake from side to side and remove any packaging. You can then slide it into its slot in the drum and gently pull it towards you until you hear it click into please. Then just slide the tray back in and close the lid.
