This Brother TN243 Yellow Toner Cartridge is quoted as doing up to 1000 pages before needing to be replaced.
The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.
Product description
An original cartridge is a brand new cartridge which has been designed and manufactured by Brother themselves.
Printing up to 1,000 pages of of vibrant yellow shades before it will need to be replaced, the TN243 yellow is the standard capacity toner for your Brother laser printer. If you need a higher yield toner try the TN247.
Changing the toner when empty is easy to do.. If you open the printer of the cover and manoeuvre the coloured clip to the side of the toner it will release it so it can be lifted out of the drum. Un-package the new toner and put it in its place and move the clip back to lock it in.
Packaged in its own box, the yellow TN243 cartridge can be stored for up to 6 months, in a cool dry place, without its quality or performance being affected.
