This is typically caused by one cartridge either running low, or having an issue. If one of your cartridges is reporting low or empty, replace that and it should resolve your issue.
If you’re still seeing faded lines on parts of your print, go into your printer settings and run a cleaning cycle. You’ll find this option in two places:
- If your printer has a built-in menu, go to maintenance or settings and find cleaning
- Through your connected computer in printer settings.
Running this cycle between three and six times and it should resolve your issue (bear in mind this does use ink!). If you still have faint lines, you’ll need to find which cartridge is causing your issue. The best way to do this is through a test page.
